Hi, I'm SkipperI have a passion for designing Earth Science curriculum and materials for teachers all around the world. Since 2009, I've worked to produce new and refreshing ideas that can be used for students in grades 6-10. In the meantime, I spent my time teaching and I tried a fun experiment of my own nature.
After teaching 8 years I wanted to try something new to get my students' attention. My goal was to make an outfit for each Earth Science unit; something that would get their attention from the get-go. The students quickly started referring to me as "Real Ms. Frizzle" (and my science materials adopted the same name). They were captivated first by my outfits, but I kept their attention with unique lessons, labs, and activities. Now I want to instill the same passion for science for people of all ages! |
